"Buy second hand", we're told, "you'll get a bargain." Well maybe, you really need to have a plan of action and have done your homework properly first to get the maximum benefit when you buy second hand.

If, for example, you want to buy a second hand car. You decide that you want a particular make and model after doing some research in magazines, newspapers and the Kelly Blue book. Having done that you also have an idea of what the price range should be for the condition offered.

You go around the dealers but everything seems to be just a bit expensive. What to do?

If you live close enough you can visit the car auctions in Miami. If not you'll have to do a bit more research and visit the auto auctions web site to find out where the nearest cars auction is to where you live. Bargains galore but you may have to wait a bit until your special car comes up for auction.
